When discussing the making of an album in English Gyllene toyed with already written songs, like David Essex' "Rock On" and Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine." A Billboard critic who reviewed "Heartland" when it was released on CD said "Rock On" was one of the worst songs he'd ever heard Per write. And then realized he hadn't written it. He was pleased.
